The Babylon Lion
I'm Italian and I live in a very old city. I like to visit museums full of works of art and I love modern buildings designed by famous architects; but seeing "The lions of Babylon" in the "Processional way" has been a magical experience. I had the feeling of going back in time, I imagined the voices of Nabucodonosor's architects giving instructions, artists talking to artisans and the noise while working to make their city unique and breathtaking for centuries.
How I would have liked my hands to be part of that work…!
I came back home and I did it: I now have a roaring Raku lion on a Babylon-blue background all to myself.
